Menudo is the name of a Puerto Rican boy band that was formed in 1970 by a producer Edgardo Díaz. Also it is one of the largest Latin boy band in history, who released his first album in 1977. In 2002, former members Sergio, Rubén, Robert, Angelo and Rawy reunited under the name "Los Ultimos Heroes" perform various concerts in Venezuela. In early 2003, MDO officially broke with the status of peace. The members wanted to pursue other projects. Edgardo Diaz introduced the new MDO in January 2005.

In 2004, Edgardo Diaz announced that he will bring a new group of the formula Menudo to the music industry. Initially expects the new group is named Menudo, but apparently he gave the press and the general public a surprise by naming them Tick Tock. They are only active for two years (2004-2006). Puerto Rican fans know that they are as a younger version of Menudo, because they cover a few songs like Subete a mi Moto, Claridad and more.
